General
Esquina Homero Manzi is in an historical Tango place, there is no other corner more “Tanguerean” than this one. It is in this tango house where Homero Manzi wrote his famous Tango mentioning the place where the show runs today The tango is named “Sur” (South)
The show is consistently focused on Tango-to-floor (the traditional style), although incorporates the always necessary figures of Stage Tango.
Local food with no frills or extravagance, it is the food that any Argentinean family would try in a suburban restaurant, as well as the wine. The highlight is the welcome appetizer with fried meat “empanadas” and “matambre” (rolled filled meat) and the chorizo beef for main course. The dessert is the “Homero Custard”.
