El Viejo Almacen recalls the past eras of tango and takes you to the times of the malevos and suburbs in the land where the tango was born..
This historical corner building was built in 1760 as a campaign warehouse in the Viceroyalty of the Río de La Plata, and El Viejo Almacen was born in 1969 by the hand of Edmundo Rivero, who now operates the Tanguería.
After enjoying a gourmet dinner in one of the the great floors of the restaurant building, visitors cross the narrow Balcarce street to be accommodated in this historical corner.
A space that maintains the original environment and holds thousands of memories, anecdotes and stories of recognized characters who were seated at their tables in the past
Thanks to its privileged distribution of a main floor and a first floor as a U shape balcony with its ancient original railings, the Tanguería allows you to enjoy the mystical and intimate show from every seat.
It is open 365 days a year.
Dinner starts at 8:00 – 8:30 pm.
