Hell’s Bay flats skiffs. You’ll dodge caymans and catch freshwater Dorado in the 5-to 20-pound class on everything from dry flies to stripped streamers.

The freshwater Dorado is a hard fighting and acrobatic fish known for its strong runs and relentless jumps.
Due to the clarity of the water, there is plenty of opportunity for sight fishing.
* Rods: Ideally two rods are recommended to cover most fishing situations. A powerful 9 ft, 6 and an 8 weight will work. A 7 weight is all rounder in the case of bringing only one rod.
* Lines: Both floating lines and sinking lines.
* Flies: Traditional saltwater streamers. An andino deceiver is the traditional dorado fly.
Guides are equipped with boga grips and will assist guests in weighing and releasing fish, without harming them. Pirá is strictly a catch and release fishery.
